Two Book Groups at ALP Library

There are two book discussion groups at the library -- one meets from September to May, and one meets in July and August.
Why two groups? They're a little bit different from each other...
The September - May group introduces a selection of books that covers different genres and authors. You may attend as many discussions as you'd like; if you'd like to attend digitally, Zoom links are available.
The July - August group reads four books chosen by a committee, and each book in the series follows a theme. If possible, it's nice to attend all of the sessions and watch the theme develop and grow. See schedule below.
July 7 - Cask of Amontillado and Masque of Red Death by Edgar Allen Poe
July 21 - Gaudy Night by Dorothy Sayers
August 4 - The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler
August 18 - Big Sky by Kate Atkinson
All discussions will be on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30,
at the library or via Zoom by request.
